DONALD S. EPPERSON, AIA – PRESIDENT

Don Epperson has extensive experience in real estate development, capital coordination and project management.  With over 30 years’ experience, he has directed mixed-use, office, retail, restaurant, hotel, residential, technology, industrial, automotive, healthcare and education projects.  Prior to forming Epperson Company, Don served as senior executive for prominent real estate companies including: The Staubach Company, Macfarlan Real Estate Services, Stream Realty Partners, McCaslin Commercial and the Resolution Trust Corporation.

Upon receiving a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University, Don began his career with HKS Architects, one of World’s leading architecture firms.  He is a licensed architect and maintains his real estate license.  He is a member of National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  Don currently serves as Chairman, Board of Trustees for Highland Park United Methodist Church.  He is past Building Committee Chairman for the Parish Episcopal School Board of Trustees and past member of the University of Texas Parents Advisory Board.  Don has also served the Dallas Arboretum, Wesley Rankin Community Center and Boy Scouts of America as a Leader and Eagle Board of Review.

A. SUE JONES – DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

Sue Jones has expertise in project and construction management, asset and facilities management, operations and administration.  Over her career, Sue has served as a project executive for RREAF/Realty America Group, JN+A Architects, Gerald Martin Construction and Sun Healthcare Group.  Sue is responsible for hands-on project management for Epperson Company, including oversight of architects, contractors and vendors.  She specializes in cost control and scheduling, FF&E purchasing and installation, communications and building systems, and tenant occupancy coordination.

Sue has a Bachelor of Arts from National-Louis University and an Associate Degree in Construction Management Technology from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute.  Her other credentials include: University of New Mexico Project Management Certification, Project Management Institute member, Corps of Engineers CQMC Certification, OSHA 30 Certification and EPA SWPP Inspector.

DON WRIGHTSMAN – SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Don Wrightsman’s experience includes design, project management, construction and real estate services.  He has an extensive track record in office interiors, ground-up development, industrial, health care and automotive projects.  Don has served as a senior manager for Stream Realty Partners, Trammel Crow Company and Benson Hlavaty Architects.  For Epperson Company, Don manages all phases of projects including initial programming, budgeting, scheduling and construction.  He coordinates all aspects of FF&E, technology, building systems, tenant occupancy and project closeout.

Don received his Bachelor Degree from the School of Architecture and Environmental Design – University of Texas at Arlington.  He is a Registered Interior Design Professional with credentials in Commercial Interiors and Certified LEED AP.
